SUBMIT A MANUSCRIPT

We are looking for manuscripts of a final length of up to 100,000 words, primarily fiction in the area of the degradation of the environment and conservation; but also non-fiction that informs the above. Works of non-fiction must be accompanied by a brief outline of your background and qualifications.

The manuscript must be your own original work. If your manuscript is accepted, you will be asked to sign a declaration stating that it is all your own work.

We are not concerned if your manuscript is under informal consideration with another publisher.

We will consider work that has been previously published if the author has retained full volume rights or had full volume rights revert to them and full corroborating evidence of such is submitted.

To submit, e-mail us at contact@highfieldspublishing.com with a covering letter, synopsis, first three chapters or equivalent and contents list where appropriate in MS Word format, Times New Roman, double-spaced and 12pt.

You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your submission.

We can’t guarantee how long it will take us to respond to your submission, but we will give everything we are sent appropriate consideration.

We will only provide feedback, which if implemented would render the work acceptable.

If your manuscript is the right fit for our list, you will be required to sign our standard publishing agreement, which will establish Royalties to be paid, before we proceed further.

Accepted authors will receive the benefit of editorial advice from experienced editors.

Accepted works will be published in print (pbook) and ebook format compatible with every portable reading device and platform of all the major e-book channels and online retailers worldwide.

The author will retain copyright and incur no expenses in the process of publication as is the norm for all Highfields Publishing titles.
